Datahouse Alphen aan den Rijn

WeServIT uses a variety of facilities in The Netherlands. Main services such as colocation, dedicated servers and managed solutions are offered from our primary facility in Alphen aan den Rijn (Datahouse). 

Datahouse is a high quality facility built to provide, maintain and secure your IT environment with us. Some of the keyfeatures are:

Secured access

Alphen DC has an automated access system allowing customers to enter and leave the building according to their private batch's privileges. To prevent abuse or theft issues the key is disabled by default, you can activate your key with every visit to the datacenter by logging in to the Client Integration System with your username and password. You'll be given a 7 digit code to enter in the computer upon arrival at the datacenter, without this code no access will be given to any of the datafloors. Re-enter the 7 digit code when leaving and your batch will be disabled immediately. 

CCTV Camera Security 

For your equipment's security every hallway, every door and every datafloor is being monitored with a CCTV Camera system. Along with automated alarm systems it is safe to say that unauthorized access is simply impossible and every attempt to do so will be prevented. The CCTV Camera system registrers by motion and is being monitored 24/7.

Axis Cam Control

For optimal security we also have several webcams in all our rack corridors to monitor activity near the servers. The cameras operate on motion detection and is being monitored 24/7.

VESDA Fire Control 

A Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) has been installed in every room. These easily triggered smoke detectors are connected to the Building Management System (BMS), which ofcourse is being monitored 24/7 for you and your equipment's safety. Any possible fire can be detected in an early stage allowing the fire control system to be activated and prevent of any damage being done to your equipment. 

Air Conditioning 

To maintain a suitable environment for high performance we equip all floors with remote controlled airco units. These units are set to a treshold with a temperature of 21°C ± 2°C, these temperatures are being monitored 24/7 by the Building Management System.

Powersupply 

Every datafloor is equipped with stable and redundant powerfeeds. Every connected rack has an isolated powerfeed with Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to insure availability.
